Lions Clubs from District 317B, Lions Clubs International take keen interest in spreading the knowledge of Vedic Mathematics in schools of Goa and Karnataka. Since 2012, District 317B has created a special position of District Chairperson for Vedic Maths in the District Cabinet for promoting Vedic Mathematics in the states of Goa and Karnataka and PMJF Lion Sagar Sakordekar has been the District Chairperson since its inception.
